Luke was fortunate enough to grow up fishing the beautiful waters of southwest Florida. It was at a very young age he picked up his first fly rod and it quickly became his obsession. While fly fishing salt occupied most of his time, spending summers in the small technical waters of western North Carolina made him realize trout were to be an integral part of his life. After college Luke worked part time on a private motor yacht as a bonefish guide and deck hand. Luke moved to Boulder in August of 2010 and has been on the water year round nearly every day, loving every minute being teaching or fishing himself. Luke lives for the water and sharing his knowledge with others.
