Quote(s) of the Day: What a beautiful place!
I met Al and Cindy at Clear creek this morning at 8:00. We quickly got into waders and got on the water. After going over a few basics of the cast and reading water, we moved down river. The flows are at 133 right now, allowing us to fish most of the river without getting too far out in the middle. The cool temps in the morning had the fish tight lipped until the afternoon. Once the it warmed up, the fish started looking up and attacking Hippie stompers and Stimi's. Al and Cindy each landed a fish apiece, had several hook ups, and moved several fish. Some of which followed the fly several feet down river before swimming off. Although the number of fish to hand was low, we had a great time on the water. It's always a pleasure sharing our public waters with new comers to the sport. Hope to get out again soon with my new friends Al and Cindy.

Partly Cloudy skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 44-47 degrees and Crystal Clear. The fishing is fair.
