Quote(s) of the Day: Set the hook down river!
I met Adam and John in the gas station parking lot at 9:00. After introductions, we made our way to the river. Adam wanted to concentrate the day on technique, reading water, knots, flies, and casting and presentation of the flies. Spending some time in the morning going over these skills, we started moving up river. With a well placed cast and drift Adam had his first fish on the hook, but he managed to come off before getting to the net. Adam didn't give up, and within a few more casts he landed a great wild brown. We fished a hopper dropper rig through out the morning, moving fish both on top and underneath. By mid afternoon the BWO's started to off, so we changed to an RS2 emerger. Adam landed another small brown and had a couple of LDR's. Adam had a great day on the river. Itwas a pleasure meeting the two of you, hope to do it again soon.

Clear skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 44-47 degrees and Crystal Clear. The fishing is fair.
