Quote(s) of the Day: It's a winter wonderland
Notes:
Large snowflakes covered our tracks as Steven, Christal, Sean and I walked to the river this morning. As we stepped into the river we found a rare deserted stretch of river below Trumble. The snow falling set a mood of peace and solitude as the Texas natives worked a fishy hole. Steven managed to hook and land a beautiful winter brown and upon his success we decided to head back to Denver and jump in the hot tub to thaw out cold feet. although we had a short day winter fishing on the South Platte showed us that the fish still eat, and crowds are easily avoided!

Overcast skies and 20-23 degree weather. The water temperature was between 32-35 degrees and Crystal Clear. The fishing is fair.
