Notes:
I met up with Riley at 7:30 on Bear Creek, we made our way down to the creek to begin fishing. The early morning was slow and on the colder side with the sun not yet hitting the deep stretches of the canyon. Around 10am the caddis started coming off, the fish became active and willing to eat. Riley was having consistent dry fly eats on a foam terrestrial, picking up a few fish here and there on the caddis dropper. Fish were eating in almost every good pocket and riffle, we generally pulled 3 or 4 out of the deeper pools. The fish were not shy and feeding heavily with the stained water color and low flow rate. It was a great day and Bear Creek is fishing well again, summer is here.

Clear skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 44-47 degrees and Stained. It is wet wading season bring your shorts and wading boots!   The fishing is great.
