Quote(s) of the Day: This is literally so amazing! I never want to leave!
Notes:
It was a chilly and foggy morning out on the South Platte, and the Peterson family was out for their first time fly fishing! With high flows and cold water, the fish were active and the whole family found success. Of course it was Mom who outfished everyone else! Danette was a natural and she was catching fish left and right, making her two sons look like the rookies! Ben and Jack got it done also though, each landing some nice fish of their own. Jack worked hard all day and produces a highlight reel finish when he fooled a beautiful 18” brown on a trico dry fly! Smiles and laughs were had all day, and overall it was a fantastic day on the water. They will be back for more!

Overcast skies and 56-59 degree weather. The water temperature was between 48-51 degrees and Slightly Off. The fishing is great.
