Quote(s) of the Day: Great father daughter trip on the South Platte!
Notes:
Took Cristina and her father Ed out to the South Platte near Deckers and had such a good day. We did not meet until Noon and it was on a weekend so the crowds were a little thick. We started further down stream from Deckers to get away from the crowds and it proved to be a good decision! For only a few hours of fishing each of them got their first fish on a fly rod and lost a good amount too! The flows are great for this time of year but look for it to be a nymphing game going forward. Fall/winter is coming soon!

Partly Cloudy skies and 19- degree weather. The water temperature was between 60+ degrees and Slightly Off. The fly fishing has been great, good hatches of Blue Winged Olives and midges will excite and challenge all levels of anglers.   The fishing is great.
