Quote(s) of the Day: This place is so much better than Illinois!
Notes:
What a beautiful morning on Boulder creek. Flows are down and water is clear. There are plenty of bugs hatching on the creek and fish are hanging out in the pocket water. Small dries and emergers seem to be doing the most damage on the creek. Jon and his kids were all first timers and did a fantastic job. It didn't take long before we got into some pretty brown trout. Fish were taking small parachute adams tailed by RS2 emerges. We found it most effective to move around and hit little pockets of water. Its always a pleasure teaching the youth about the sport of fly fishing. Look for fishing to be best early and late in the day.

Clear skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 48-51 degrees and Crystal Clear. The fishing is good.
