Quote(s) of the Day: I can see myself getting into fly fishing!
Notes:
Mike and I met down at Boulder creek around 8am. After we got suited up and rigged we headed down to the creek. Mike took to casting very quickly and caught his first fish after just a few casts. He picked up the little brown on a flashback pheasant tail. We moved our way up the creek hitting the man made plunge pools. We picked up a few fish here and there. Fishing seemed to be best for us first thing in the morning. We moved locations halfway through the day. I cooked up some brats and potato salad for us then we got back to fishing. The afternoon was tough for us. The creek was low and very clear. Fish were hiding under logs and under the banks. Right before we finished the day we saw some small browns rising on some tiny midges. It was a pleasure watching Mike improve throughout the day. We had perfect weather and had a blast sharing stories. Thanks again Mike for a great day on the water.

Clear skies and 48-51 degree weather. The water temperature was between 36-39 degrees and Crystal Clear. The fishing is fair.
