Quote(s) of the Day: Fly fishing is so much more fun that other fishing!
Notes:
It was 12 year old Matt’s first day ever fishing with a fly rod. After a brief casting lesson, It was obvious he was a natural. After about 15 minutes and a couple near misses, Matt set the hook on a beautiful wild brown trout. After a battle, the fish was in the net, and Matt was all smiles. His first fish on the fly!

Overcast skies and 52-55 degree weather. The water temperature was between 44-47 degrees and Crystal Clear. The fly fishing has been great, good hatches of Blue Winged Olives and midges will excite and challenge all levels of anglers.   Try an egg pattern (size 16) trailed by a small midge or mayfly (size 18-20).   The water is low and clear and fly fishing reports have been excellent.   The fishing is great.
