Quote(s) of the Day: It so beautiful here!
Notes:
What an awesome day on the water with Giorgio. With the recent snow storms the roads were a little covered but that didnt stop us! We made the absolute most of the empty river by landing a fish in almost every hole we fished. With the browns just coming off the beds they are very aggressive and are ready to eat. Midges and beatis were a huge factor as always this time of year. With only a 4 hour trip we landed 7 and missed many more. A simple emerger or a small larva was the ticket in patterns olive and black were really productive colors with the low flows we stuck to 5 and 6x as well. All in all a stellar day on the water!

Clear skies and 32-35 degree weather. The water temperature was between 36-39 degrees and Crystal Clear. The fly fishing has been great, good hatches of Blue Winged Olives and midges will excite and challenge all levels of anglers.   The fishing is great.
