Quote(s) of the Day: I don't think it gets any nicer than this!
After picking Rebecca up downtown, we made the beautiful drive to Deckers CO. We got to the river, the weather was beautiful and there was none around, today was gonna be a good one. After going over the basics of the fly rod and what we would be doing out there we hit the river. Rebecca hooked into a fish on her 3rd cast, neither of us were ready, the fish got off. This didn't discourage Rebecca it only fueled the fire! We had another fish on in no time and this one we got to the net. Rebecca was a great listener and caught on quick. After some crunchy Cheetos and a sandwich we moved further downstream. This is where Rebecca put it all together and fought a nice brown trout to the net! The temperature was around 70, little to no crowds, and feeding fish, we had a blast on the water today!

Clear skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 36-39 degrees and Slightly Off. The fishing is great.
